gaa_logoSt Paul’s started the game excellently, some great attacks from Karl O H and Lee J. The first point however came from eventual man of the match Rafael.  Karl o H then finished off the next attacking move to score a point. Jordan got in on the act with two well taken points in a row. Rafael added to his total point. Daniel Mc then scored two points, the first from play before a well struck 45 point.

Kyle Fitz came up from defence with an excellent support run and finished the move with a point. The next move from Jordan was one of individual brilliance, as a 50-yard solo run led to a well-taken goal. Daniel Mc then found an opportunity to chip the goalkeeper for a superb finish and St Paul’s second goal. Daniel followed up with two points just before half time. St Paul’s bossed the first half keeping Raheny scoreless.

In the second half the Brunner lads battled against an ever-increasing wind. The half started with two frees from Daniel converted for points. Jordan then got his second goal after another fine solo run. Dylan Mc came off the bench and made a great tackle, which set up Rafael for another goal. Daniel added another point before Conor D made his move into the forward line count with a hard worked but very good goal. The final score was St Paul’s 5-13 to 1-2. The Brunner boys now find themselves in the U16 Dublin schools final. Well Done Lads.
