Student Council organises Edmund Rice Events Day

student_council_logoA Message from the Student Council:

The ‘Brunner Games’ will be this year’s end of year event. Thanks to a lot of discussion and rigorous planning with Edmund Rice - Share the Visionstudents and staff, this event has been given a green light from our principal. It will be similar to a sports day, with a wide range of physical activities and prizes for the winners. Each student will have a chance to compete with their peers and experience the amazing talent within our school.

The purpose of the event is to recognise achievement through sport. However, there is another cause. The Student Council has decided to take responsibility of the funding for a ‘sensory room’. This is a special room, where students can chill out and relax. We believe the purpose of this room will serve as a great resource for the student body. More details of the room will be revealed before the year ends. The goal is to raise €250 and we hope to meet this by asking all students to contribute €2 to take part in the events.

We would like to especially thank Mr. McCormack and Mr. Dunleavy for contributing to the planning of this event as it would not be possible without their help.
