St Paul’s CBS Students Receive BITC Mentoring Certificates

Jason Accepts Certs From MinisterToday, in the House of Lords Room at Bank of Ireland College Green the Brunner Boys who took part in the Business in The Community Mentoring programme received their certificates from the Minister for Education Jan O’Sullivan. On behalf of the school Jason  Murphy accepted the certificates from the Minister. Our mentoring partner is Cornmarket Insurance and they wSalim Delivers Address to the Ministerere represented in the presentation by their employee and Brunner past pupil James Higgins. A great debt of thanks goes to James and all of the participants from Cornmarket who have given so much time to our students over the years. An especial thanks must also go to Rachel Hyland of Cornmarket and Breda O’Sullivan of BITC who put so much effort into ensuring the programme’s success each year.

Salim Abeid was selected to deliver an address to the Minister and the rest of the guests and he provided an excellent and eloquent account of how much the mentoring programme has meant to him and his fellow students. He was fulsome
in his praise of Ms. O’Shaughnessy who oversees the programme in our school, of the mentors and of BITC.

St Paul’s CBS looks forward to our continued partnerships with Cornmarket and BITC and to seeing more of our students reap the benefits of this relationship.
