President Obama to meet Brunner Boys

There is great excitement in St Paul’s CBS today as the students of 2 Ulster prepare to meet US President Barack Obama. Along with their teacher Mr Stynes and school librarian Ms Brady the students were invited by Mr. John Hennessey-Niland, Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Dublin, to the VIP section at today’s rally in College Green where it is expected that the US President will address the Irish people. The invite comes as a result of a project in aid of  CanTeen Ireland, Ireland’s young people’s cancer support group,  that the 2nd year class took part in. The project was organised in conjunction with Localise and the US Embassy, with Mr. Hennessey-Niland playing a key role.

We wish President Obama a happy and enjoyable stay in Ireland and we are sure that in years to come he’ll fondly remember his meeting with the Brunner’s ambassadors!
